In July 2017, Montcrest Asset Management (formerly known as NYX Capital Corp.) acquired 1.9 acres of commercial land located at 9675-9699 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill. The plan was to rezone the property to allow a mixed-use development consisting of 366 condominium units and allow 5,500 square feet of retail space.
The property sits between Major Mackenzie Drive and 16th Avenue, which is located near the heart of Richmond Hill. The area is attractive for future residents as it is close to many parks, shops, restaurants and has ease of access to public transportation.
