Montcrest Asset Management (formerly known as NYX Capital Corp.) supports the Schulich Real Property Alumni Association (SRPAA) Leadership Fund for Black and Indigenous Communities. The financial contribution will provide the award recipient with vital funding for tuition.
Supported by the SRPAA, alumni and friends of the Brookfield Centre, the Fund aims to create more equitable and inclusive opportunities for promising young individuals from underrepresented communities to obtain their undergraduate degree and pursue a career in business. Each year, the Fund will support two student awards, the SRPAA Leadership Award for Black Communities and the SRPAA Leadership Award for Indigenous Communities.
“Contributing to the mission of the SRPAA was important since many of our team members are Schulich alumni and believe in supporting students’ education and breaking down barriers that students in these communities face,” said Yashar Fatehi, Chief Executive Officer of Montcrest.
